MAMA
PROJECT
has been committed to caring for the health and well being of
malnourished children around the world for over 20 years. They are now
taking on a new and vital effort to prevent more children dying
needlessly from NOMA. NOMA is a virus affecting children from two to
six years old, killing over 250 children every day. The virus literally
"eats" the face of its child victim from the inside out. For more
information on this disease, go to www.nonoma.org. Be aware that
photos of NOMA patients can be disturbing. |
