Souper Bowl of Caring - We're tackling hunger in our community with donations to our community food pantry - monetary and food items.  The food pantry always needs peanut butter, canned goods (fruits, veggies), pasta, tomato sauce, chunky soups/stews, and pancake mix/syrup.  Try to donate items your family would eat.  Low fat/sugar/salt items appreciated.

February 10-12
Winter Peace Retreat - "Peace Church within the Empire" 
with speakers Alan and Eleanor Kreider, who have served at London Mennonite Centre and Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary.  There will be peacemaking activities for children ages 6-12.

Ice cream social - You're invited for an evening of casual fun and homemade ice cream.  Bring some ice cream and/or your hunger ... either way we're happy to see you!

March 23 & 24
Sister Care - "Peace Church within the Empire" 
a ministry designed for “Equipping Women for Caring Ministry,” will be held at Souderton Mennonite Church. Carolyn Holderread Heggen and Rhoda Keener will co-present this seminar, designed to validate women’s gifts of caring and equip women to respond more effectively and confidently to the needs of others in their lives and in the congregation. Topics include claiming identity as God’s beloved, caring for self and others, compassionate listening, and transforming loss and grief.  The seminar runs Friday, 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost of the seminar is $40 and includes Saturday lunch and the program manual.  Click for details
